The song is an “oldies” and many would probably have heard of this song. Catchy, and somewhat very much representative of the romanticism of the winter with snowflakes and plum blossom.
The original song is slow and steady, with Chinese instruments as accompaniment such as flute, pipa, erhu, guzheng (those that I can hear of). But there has been many rewrites with more contemporary take on the song in many Chinese variety shows.
However, I have to say Fei Yu Ching’s original has an everlasting impression especially with his one and only special voice.
