THE romantic series to watch in 2020, all packaged into a sweet series to tide through the pandemic. Recently, I rewatched this series to watch the cheeky & mischievous Yoon Se-ri and cool & totally swoon-worthy Ri Yeung-Hyeok. Son Ye-Jin as Se-ri and Hyun Binh as Captain Ri. What a wonderful-looking couple, and couple in real-life too! So looking forward to their announcement of marriage.

The scene of Ri Yeung-Hyeok playing the piano by the pier of the lake is such an amazing scene, totally loving it, and definitely a must-visit spot at lake. It is quite a large lake, with many pier stops along, each with their unique views. Brienz, Sigriswil, Spiez, Thun, Interlaken. Bring along the shawl if you intend to take the boat for a ride as it can be chilly.

Another very thoughtful present that Captain Ri gives to Se-ri is the yet to bloom plant for her to take care. Well, guess what is that beautiful plant when fully blooming? Edelweiss! Immediately made me think of 2 things – Heidi-land Switzerland & the song Edelweiss in Sound of Music. Classic, and so apt. Link to the piano arrangement.

The series is a favourite, just because of Hyun Binh. After the series, I continued to binge on Hyun Binh’s other series including Secret Garden and Memories of Alhambra. Nothing beats CLOY. What can I say?
